Cal Spa 2006 Gfci Wiring

Hello - I would just like to confirm the red and black wires on the breaker itself. I'm running new wires, replacing 8 gauge wires with 6 gauge wires. The previous electrician used all black wires, so I just want to be certain. The ground wire is obvious, and the white wire (neutral) is marked on the breaker with a white dot. Does it matter if the red wire is on the bottom, and black on top? Or should the red wire be on top? The hot tub panel is marked clearly, so I don't have any questions there.

The breaker is a GE Type THQL-GFCI 50amp double pole breaker.

Thanks

Mike

The red and black wires can be interchanged with no issues. Just make sure when you replace the wiring you get the neutral back on the breaker in the correct location.

Thanks PJmax. Yes, the Neutral Load was marked with a white dot on the breaker (marked from manufacturer from what I could tell) and prev electrician had white tape on that middle wire, so I'm confident that is the Neutral Load.

Thanks so much for the response.
