Aqua Rite chlorine generator

My aqua rite runs constant even when on auto and it does not matter what the dial is set at. I have taken the control board out and tested the on switch and percentage dial, both seem to be ok. I do have a 2 year old generic turbo cell on it but I can not belive it has anything to do with the problem. The only way I can keep the chlorine level were I want it is to turn it on and off. Can you tell me were the timer is on the master board?

Welcome to the forums.

I have worked on those units but I am not 100% sure on their operation. I don't believe there is a timer on the board. Based on water flow turns the unit on and the percentage dial is supposed to regulate the generating process.

From what I understand there is a sensor or point in the cell that reads the salt level. That could be dirty or clacified causing your unit to continually generate.

I left the link for your unit. At the bottom is a troubleshooting chart..... maybe try following the diagnostic routine.
