Question Air in pool filter

I have a problem. My pool is blowing a lot of air back into my pool at the jet. My pump and filter are only a few years old but my pool is 10 years old. My skimmer does leak down the outside of my pool but has since the day they installed it. I did lub the O ring at the pump, but still see a lot of air there too.

Welcome to the forums.

This is an above ground pool ?

If it is then there isn't much winterizing to do to the lines so I doubt you had any freeze and rupture.

One way to find a leak is to pour water over connections. When you find a leaking one it'll slurp.

there are so many possibilities, pump lid oring, pump drain plug, pump lid, inlet to pump, valve between skimmer and pump. Sometimes you can find the leak by having pump running and when shut off it will sometimes spray water from where it is leaking. A lot of on and off and looking at different place for the small water spurt.
