Plumbing solar heat system through Aqua-Rite

Although instructions say to plumb heated water before the Aqua Rite T-Cell, I'd rather not have it affect my displayed temperature reading. And, it doesn't seem right to send such hot water through the cell. Can you tell me why we're instructed to? Will it matter if I don't, and put it in the line directly to the pool, as long as there is sufficient pressure running through the cell?

Welcome to the forums.

From the installation instructions:

The Salt Chlorine Generator has to be the last piece of equipment installed in your return line. The concentrated chlorine from the Generator will deteriorate the gaskets and working parts of the filter and any other units installed after the filter.
