Hayward Pool heater rewire

I have a hayward pool heater that I want to bypass some of the safety items on it. I know it not a good idea but the control box is shot.

Is there someone who can work with me to get it working with the least amount of components.

Its an self igniting electric over gas.

I think, if we kept the thermostat. and dumped the rest. Is there a way to get it working again?

Thanks
Adam

Welcome to the forums.

Unfortunately discussions about deliberately bypassing safety switches won't be tolerated here.
Those safeties are there for a reason and gas is not forgiving.

If the control box is shot, bypassing the safeties won't help it. How about a model # for the heater and maybe we can get you back up and running. What makes you think the "control box" is shot?
