2006 Sundance Caprio big leak
i recently paid a repairman $130 to find the source of my hot tub leak. i have a pic of the actual leak. the tub is now on its side to access the bottom of the tub to repair the pipe. i would like to do this myself to save costs, as i still have an electrical problem to troubleshoot as well.
can anyone identify the name of this fitting and where i can get a replacement? is it hard to replace?

Just search online. There are many hot tub/spa suppliers that sell a variety of fittings. Leaf through the pages and you might get lucky and recognize the part you need. If not contact Sundance and order the replacement part from them or one of their dealers.
Will it be easy???? No! I've rarely found any plumbing on a spa that's easy to work on. You're working with large diameter piping that doesn't like to bend and your working in a very confined space. Expect to do a fair bit of cursing, sore muscles and probably some blood. It's not rocket science but it is difficult. You may even have to excavate out more foam so you can get pipes to move enough and have room to work. Once you get it repaired you can re-insulate.
