Locating a pool motor starting capacitor

Local pool repair person here to diagnose humming in motor that may or may not go on....when switched on. He thought starting capacitor was the culprit. There were no markings and he has been unable to locate one.

It is a Sta-Rite pump P6RA6YG-207L, Max-E-Pro installed new in Jan of 2009. Could be an AO Smith motor. All the numbers I can find are:

K48M2P105B1, 230v, 1 ph, 10/3A
CSC ECCOL11
325P356H37N30N4X
628318-309

Sta-Rite is no help and AO Smith has yet to get back to me.

Can anyone help?

It's extremely rare for a starting cap to have NO markings on it. I'll check around but that isn't usually a published replacement part.

You could also have a problem with the centrifugal start switch. If it's blackened and pitted it may not be making a connection.

It looks like there were some numbers, but they are barely readable, i.e., not readable. Thanks for your help. I took a look at the c.s.switch, without knowing what it was, for sure. Did not notice anything amiss but I will look again.

Here is a capacitor sizing formula that I have used successfully when faced with your problem of no readable info on capacitor.

Start capacitor sizing formula
2650 X Full Load Amps Divided by Supply Voltage = MFD
If the full load is not the locked rotor amps then increase MFD by 1/3
for hard start loads such as compressors or augers.
