Pool liner rip - hole - can it be fixed?

rip/ whole in liner in top area of above ground pool. Mother says she's going to have to buy a new liner. I say it can be fixed. What do you think?

I'll take a pic later, but it's up almost near above the water line. Do they have stuff to fix rips in the liner??

You should be able to patch the hole if it isn't too big. Similar to patching an inner tube. Depending on what's available and where the repair is - it may or may not be unsightly.
