jets wont work

Hello!

I have a late model (2001) Hot Springs Sovern. The problem began with leaks in a couple hoses. I fixed those and refilled the hot tub. The jets worked, but the heater didn't. The heater relay board was in pretty rough shape, so I replaced it. Now, the heat works, but the jets don't. When I try to turn the jets on, I hear a click and a small red light flashes on the main circuit board. I know it's not an air lock because the the jets worked after initially filling it. The only thing I can think of is that the main circuit board (looks original) might not be fully compatible with the newer heat relay board-maybey they aren't communicating properly?. Other than that, I'm stumped. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forums.

There is only one pump. It's the same pump that runs with the heater.
Does it come on when you push the jet button ?
There should be a manual valve at the top of the spa for allowing air into the line.

I thought that spa has two pumps. One big one for the jets and a small continuously running one for filtration.

Double check the voltage of the components you're using. I don't know that model year but older Sovereign were 120 volts while later models are 240v. The 120v models would not allow the main jet pump and heater to be on at the same time.

I was looking at the wrong manual. Your Sovereign spa shows as two pumps. A jet pump and a circulation pump. That is the only model that is dual voltage. It looks like it may be wired wrong.

Are you feeding it with 120v or 240v ?

I forgot to leave the link to the manual..... 2001 Watkins manual
