Converting 220 spa motors to 110

I have a old CalSpas hot tub, 30 years old. The spa originally had 220 motors, timer and heater. The repair person replaced the motors with 110 v. The 220 timer trips when switched on. Also the original 220 breakers are in the panel. He said the timer is wired for 220 but the motors are wired 110. Also the heater won't start as well. The spa has been inactive since COVID. The timer switched on when I tested the original motors, but the motors were frozen, that's why I wanted them replaced. Not sure if he wired everything correctly as well. Should I have replaced the motors with 220 v like the originals or are the 110 v fine?

Welcome to the forums.

I'm a bit speechless.

It was completely unacceptable to replace 240v motors with 120v motors.
The switching relays are designed to handle 240v motors.
He would have had to do rewiring.
If the motors could be converted..... they would have 120v AND 240v wiring diagrams on the label.

I'm not sure we can help you. You may need a tech there.
