Pentair Purex Triton Minimax Plus 400 - tprobe issue

My Pentair heater works, only when I have to play with the tprobe wire at the circuit board. Is it a bad circuit board that needs to be replaced or just a faulty trpobe wire that needs to be re-crimped or changed ?

It's a loose connection. I'd cut the old female connector off the wires and install a new one.

When the connector is removed inspect the pins in the board. They are likely damaged from the repeated arcing.

If you want you can look up inside the female part and try to bend the contact blades out so they make a more reliable connection. This is usually easier done if you pop the sockets out of the connector body but may require the pin popper tool to get them out more easily. They can usually be pulled out with a fine point dental tool or pin to release the barbs holding the sockets in the housing.

I wanted to reach out and take your hand off the board.
That intermittent is not doing the gas valve any good.

Take the plug off the board and look at the pins on the socket.
If they aren't corroded.... the solder has broken on the back side.

My guess.... broken solder on the pins on that socket.
