Purple Pool???
Seems that there is some sort of purple powder like substance in the bottom of my pool and along the bottom of the walls.
The skimmer doesn't seem to pick it up since it;s on the bottom.
Vacuuming helps a little, but I think it just moves it around.
I saw it in there as I pulled the winter cover off to open the pool. The powder didn't fall in from the cover either.
Any ideas?

Purple pool?
Purple algae? Manganese? Take a sample of your water by your local pool supply for testing and recommendations for balancing the chemicals.
