Question Replacing Pool Tiles

Hi:

I have about 10 pool tiles I wish to replace. These tiles (6 x 6) are at the water level, just above the plaster in my in-ground pool.

Any suggestions on how best to get the tiles out? All I can come-up with so far is to smash them.

Hope someone can help.

What about the grout?

I was just wondering if you needed to use a special glue and grout, since the tile are sitting in water? Any ideas?

Glue and Grout I will Try

When I get to the point of replacing the pool tiles I am going to use Flexbond Instant Mortar (a premium mortar) and Polyblend for the Grout. Both I will purchase at Home Depot.

I think I am going to wait until Winter (here in Tucson) to tackle the job.

Hope this helps.
