Breakfast Calzone

Unless you want to make homemade bread dough to start these with, it is usually quicker to get the frozen bread dough.

1/2 pound sweet bulk sausage
1/2 pound diced cooked ham

1/2 cup each chopped onion and green pepper

5 eggs

1 loaf frozen bread dough

1/2 pound hot bulk sausage

1 package (8 ounces)
shredded mozzarella cheese
or your favorite cheese mix

Cook and crumble sausage and ham. Mix with drained peppers and onions.

Scramble eggs; add to sausage/ham.

Roll thawed bread dough into a rectangle about 3/4 inch thick. Place filling on rolled-out dough. Sprinkle with cheese.

Roll up jelly roll fashion. Place seam side down on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes until brown and crusty.

Top may be sprinkled with caraway or sesame seeds or dill. Slice and serve hot.
