Not really looking for a recipe, just looking for differnt seasoning I can use. It will be cooked on a Geroge Foreman grill. I've tried a few different seasoning . I can't remember which ones at the moment, I would have to re-check the spice rack. All that I've tried the taste of the fish fillet usually tunrs out okay (I can eat anything) but no real taste to it.

Cowboy Up---Get up off the ground, pull up yer pants, wipe off the dust, get back on the horse.
(Be a man...in nice terms)
Lay there and bleed---- Let a problem get the better of you or give up after a setback.
Oh yeah and...
He11 yeah!! HooYah!! OooRah!!
Heck forgot the original question as well. Rub with light oil, a dust of old bay, and some fresh ground pepper. Talapia is really light, don't want to overpower it.

Since posting this thread, I've tried paprika, garlic salt and pepper on my tilapia. So far I like that combo, but I'll try your suggestions when possible.

I like to melt some butter, squeeze just a small amoutn of lemon juice into the butter, mix it around, and baste it over the fillets. Then I sprinkle on a real small amount of (you don't need much or it will ruin the tilapia) black pepper, salt, and brown sugar.
Mmmmm...

I prefer steaming it. I take a foil pouch and lace some aromatics on the bottom like julienned bell peppers and onions. Then I lay down the tilapia fillets and season with some salt and pepper and a bit of fresh thyme. Lastly, I throw some thin slices of lemon on top, throw in a pat of butter, and add half a cup of white wine and seal the foil pack. Place into and oven for 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees and thats it.

I'm not a fan of tilapia but here's what I use on mild white fleshed fish.
Coat with flour seasoned with salt and garlic pepper. Dredge in milk (or eggs if your waistline can handle it) and coat with a mixture of panko and grated parmesan cheese (splurge on the good stuff the American cheese sold as "parmesan" doesn't have the taste. Saute in hot oil.
A great way to prepare walleye and sm bass.
