EASY BACON AND CHEESE QUICHE

Heat over to 350 degrees before starting...
Butter 9" round baking pan
Prepare and sprinkle in pan to make crust:
2 Lbs. bacon, (or spicy sausage) fried and crumbled
Beat together and pour into pan:
10 eggs
1 C. heavy cream
2 C. cheese, finely grated (swiss or monterey or both)
**(Save 1 C. to sprinkle over top)
dash of salt and pepper
dash of nutmeg
2 tbs. butter
OPTIONAL ITEMS TO ADD: CHOPPED BLACK OLIVES, CHOPPED MUSHROOMS, OR WHATEVER YOU LIKE)
Sprinkle remaining cheese over top
***Bake 50 minutes....(I usually check by cutting into center with table knife, separating a little and checking for firmness at 35 min.)
***Serves 4 to 5. Leftovers good next day warmed in microwave.
