Weiser Deadbolt

I have just finished installing three weiser deadbolts. Two of the deadbolts work fine, but the last deadbolt has a problem.
The inside portion of the deadbolt will not engage the actual deadbolt. If I use the key on the outside I can engage the mechanism. I have tried adjusting the height of the deadbolt a bit but same result. Could this deadbolt be defective.

Thanks,

F-7

Is it single or double cylinder?

If it is single cylinder, then you need to insert the tailpiece into the thumbturn.

If it is double cylinder, you need to insert both inside and outside cylinders at the same time with the tail bar located in the mechanism...before holding it there and screwing it together.

The tailbar needs to be inserted in the correct timing to work properly
