Replacing Exterior door knob. No visible screws!!

Replacing door knobs to have matching key set. Both knobs are probably 30 years old. Had no issues with interior door (from garage to kitchen) now I would like to replace the knob from the exterior into the garage but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to "free" the knob! There is no visible screws, holes, or slats. I can free the "sleeve" and see some sort of slide mechanism but I feel this is involved with the actual lock bolt. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Do you know the manufacturer?

Old Sargents, for example require you to unscrew the rose and depress a wire spring retainer to remove the knob. These are more often found in commercial situations but there has been the occaisonal one on a house.
