Unhappy Problems removing Weslock exterior dr lock

I am trying to replace a Weslock exterior door lock. I have removed the latch and the two screws inside the indoor knob but can't get the knobs to separate. Any ideas?

Depending on the model.....if you do a search, you will find the answer within.

On the throat of the inside knob there is usually a retainer that needs depressing to remove the inside knob.

Thank you. I found the retainer. It was so simple.
