Can I replace only the interior knob on front door handleset

I have a Kwikset handleset. I only want to replace the interior knob. The knob I am replacing it with is a Ironwood Lever which I believe is Design House Brand. Are these compatible with Kwikset handlesets? I have seen that Design House locks (which I am not purchasing) have KW1 keys if that means anything to you. Thank you so much for your help!

I don't think that it would be compatible with the outside lock. I think you will have to buy the whole set. Good Luck

I believe that Kwikset sells levers for many of their locks. Pull up their website and check it out. May even match the design of the one you bought.

Kwikset also has lever handles with a standard outside knob. I agree you'll probably have to buy the whole set...

Kwikset, is basically different to everything else on the market and cannot be modified to work with other brands.

Weiser and Weslock similarly.

It is generally considered (in the industry) as the bottom rung on the ladder of products.

If you pay peanuts, you will get monkeys.

Probably not...have to check with that company. It is POSSIBLE that they have patterned their products based on the Kwikset chassis and ubiquitous KW-1 keyway, but this keyway has been off patent for many decades, and therefore has been used on a number of imported locks in the last few decades, so "KW1" is a fairly meaningless indicator.

You may indeed end up with a peanut on a monkey...
