door handle

hi from denny and ida we have new Anderson doors in our home that we had put in about a year ago the key handle has come loose and I cant find out to tighten the unit I think it is a schlage latch unit any help will be appreciated thank you denny and ida

Welcome to the forum. Anderson makes many types of doors. A picture and better description would be very helpful.

Agreed...they make patio doors, french doors and storm doors. I believe all use a Schlage keyway in the locks but all use different methods of attachment.

Most times you'll need to remove the handles and trim plates.

Second the motion for a picture....Anderson has had numerous designs over the years. Some atrium doors use locks in which some of the parts are pretty much stamped and swaged together at the factory, and are therefore not serviceable.

Look on the bottom of the handle for a set screw.
