Deadbolt Stuck
My key almost got stuck in my deadbolt - I managed to get it out after a while of jiggling, but now when I put the key in the tumbler won't budge at all. I can still lock it from the inside with the hand-lock, but the key won't move at all if I try. Is there any way to fix this, or is the lock finished?
Thanks

Try squirting powdered graphite into the key slot. It is sold in most home centers specifically for lubricating locks. Many will protest but a squirt of WD-40 into the key slot will also probably get it working again.

Cheap home center locks eventually wear out. Sticking, worn, broken pins and springs, worn cylinder, etc.
A locksmith could probably re-pin it if thats the only issue. Or he could make you a whole new cylinder set to your key and lock. Cheaper if you remove the handle and take it to him.

A stuck key can mean a number of things, singularly or in combination, but if you have man-handled it trying to remove it, and now it won't operate at all when re-inserted could mean damage was done beyond economic repair. If it is consumer-grade, it would cost more to repair then replace.
