Door lock change
Hi,
I have an interior door which I cannot modify in the sense of drilling additional holes or changing completely.
Think of this like a bathroom door.
It had a lock on the inside you twist with your fingers, and on the outside there is the below.
I want to change the outside so instead of having this, I can lock it from the outside with a key.
I have no idea what to search for but surly I can buy something of a standard size, with a square thing to insert into the already existing hole which has a key lock with it.
Your help is appreciated.

Unfortunately I cannot do this because I live in a rented house, so I cannot damage anything, however if I could find this thing I have in my head I can just swap it out when I leave.

Would be interested to see the remaining parts of the lock, and the door prep. You indicate non-US, perhaps knowing what country you are in might help, and the brand of lock, as well.

Changing a door knob should not require any drilling, only need a phillips screw driver, takes about 5 min.
Save the old knob in a plastic zip lock bag and change it back when you move.

That is called a mortise lock in the US. I think you are out of luck as far as replacing the outer emergency unlocking device with a keyed device, at last one that will allow you to replace the emergency device at a later date.
I could be wrong and we do have a member that knows European locks well. He may take a few days to respond so hang in there.

Good pictures, thank you. I looked at the AYR website and see that they have the key cylinder outside with thumbturn ("muletilla") inside, but unlike the simple privacy function like you have, the key cylinder function seems to require through-bolting below the lock body which would require drilling holes that would show if you ever tried to restore the original function. The company may offer however, an adaptor ring for use with the privacy function when converting from the key cylinder function that would cover these holes. I don't think your landlord would object to that.
