Sliding door handle with lock size

I have a sliding glass door with lock that measures 1 5/8" thick. The product I'm looking at states that it "Only fits 1 3/4" door thickness." Since it's only 1/8" off, I was wondering if it would still work or not as I've gotten conflicting answers from a few people.

Here is the link to the actual product along with photos of my door. Thank you.

I would say your door qualifies for a "nominal" 1-3/4" thick door...there should be some tolerance in door thickness, as the limiting factor is the tie screw length and post length; worst case, you might have to file the screws a wee bit shorter.

However, you need to make sure the tie-screw centers match, as well as the lock edge mounting screw centers. Most of those little hook-bolt locks for sliding glass doors use the same door prep, (in the USA) and yours looks typical.
