ReRoofing
#1

I have a roof that's not bad, just old. Is it recommended that I REroof it (lay new over old). Or do I have to tear off before I lay down new composite? Interested in Pros and Cons.

One layover is allowed in most places.
It is less expensive (no tear-off/disposal costs), but be aware that it can void the warranty and will shorten the life of the new shingles.
Your choice.
Good luck!
