adding a roof on top of my roof ?

i have a roof leak that i cannot stop. i have attached a photo.

it leaks where the flat roof joins the two peaked roofs.

the red lines show where i would like to add a roof to stop the leak.

my question is, is this a good idea ? assuming the house was built wrong and the only way to repair the leak would be to add more pitch to the roof, which would mean demolishing half the house, is adding a roof to my roof a good idea ?

i think the water comes off the peaked roofs faster then it can drain off the flat roof, causeing a whirlpool effect where the three roofs meet.
