are you talking coil stock or the wood itself?aluminum or vinyl facsia overlaps about 3/4 to an inch

Roof Mold

I'm moving into a house whose asphalt shingle roof is about nine years old. On one end there are patches of mold growing on the shingles. How do I get rid of the mold without destroying the roof. I can't power wash it because I'd remove all the little stones. Is bleach OK? Some of these patches must be a quarter to a half an inch thick. What can you do to prevent them from growing back? When does drip edge get installed?

I'm redoing a low-slope roof on a shed attached to the back of a 25' wide garage. I thought the drip molding was nailed down right on top of the plywood. Now I've heard the the "Rake " side gets nailed down before the felt, and the "eaves" side is nailed after the felt is on. What are "rake" & "eave"? All I know is I've got 2 slightly sloping ends and a 25' long bottom edge. And do each get done differently?Read More
