Temporary repair to Rolled roof?

Have a nearly flat roof (3 or 4" drop over 16 feet) on an addition that was added when our house was remuddled. It has rolled roofing material on it (like really heavy roof felt with some grit on it) and it has recently started to leak. Winter is coming and I would like to put this repair off til spring if possible ( and a new financial year) so I was thinking about "sealing" the roof with a brush on product sort of like a driveway sealer. After I've repaired and isolated this leak of course.

Henry Corp makes a product for this. Has anybody tried anything like this?

Thanks for the input!
