Question

Painting metal roof?

Can we paint our 3-year-old metal roof another color? If we do, how often will we have to re-paint?
We would greatly appreciate any tips or advice on this subject. Thank you.

Painting a metal roof is probably the last thing you want to do. For it to last you are going to need some high dollar paint / primer. If you don't use the best you will be repainting at least once a year. Ask your local auto body shop for paint recommendations - it will be pretty close to the same thing you will need to use.

Question on old house window problem

I recently bought a 60 year old house that needed a ton of work. I replaced every window/door in the whole house along with lots of other things. My problem is that when it gets cold outside the windows and the glass on the doors have so much condensation on them that it actually runs down onto my window sill and makes puddles. I think in the long run this may cause some serious problems. Anyone know how I can fix this? The windows are double paned and there is no insulation in this old house, attic or walls.
