Question

i have a 10x20 cement patio that i would like to cover. my eaves are to low to allow tying into the house under the eaves. what would be the best way to cover the patio? tie into the roof over the gutters or 4x4 beams next to gutters with a slight overhang over the gutters? this is probably not going to be permanent, so i wonder how practicle it is tying it in to the roofor my other option is running into 4x4 posts. any suggestions?

What is causing your eaves to be too low for attaching the new extended roof? Is the slab too high?

I've recently built porch roofs on to some houses that didn't allow for much pitch, but we resolved it well in every case.

I'm not exactly clear about your use of the 4x4's next to the house.

You can e-mail this question to me and I might be able to give some other suggestions.

Question about my patio roof

I noticed your response about the flat roof. You also invited the writer of the post to email you. If it is possible, I would like to email you with my question about a roof for a patio enclosure.

Thanks

Don
