Hello
I want to put new roofing on my deck roof which has only a slight pitch.Would half lap
roofing be sufficent. The pitch is one and a half inches per foot. Thanks for any advice.

Yes if you want to replace every 3-5 yrs depending on where you live.I would use a product called modified bitumen. That is a skilled process though ,no homeowner type thing but it carries a 20yr warantee(sp?)never have to worry about it again.

Thanks so much for your help. I'll look into this and see if I can find some one locally to do the job.

Another suggestion would be to put an aluminum flat pan cover over it, or use the 3" Weatherbreaker panels (finished aluminum skin top and bottom, 3" of foam between). Neither would require any maintenance and either would do just fine with slope you mentioned. (1/2" to the foot is more common for either of these systems)
