Flooding Den

When it rains, my den floods. The water drains across my wooden deck and accumulates in the track of my patio door like an aquarium then eventually leaks into the house and soaks the carpet! What can I do short of tearing up the deck? We tried different kinds of water sealing.

Arn't there slots in your wooden deck. The water is supposed to run down these.

And is the deck sloped towards the house? Should be level so water can't stand on it, and certainly shouldn't be able to have enough water standing on it to overflow a slider thresehold! <BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by Jack the Contractor:
