WHAT CHEMICAL WILL CLEAN OFF ALGAE GROWTH FROM A NORTH FACING, SHADED, PORCH ROOF, WHICH HAS SOFFIT VENTILATION?

Hi. How about bleach. I've used it on brick, vinyl siding and concrete block all with good results. Dilute it with water in a sprayer of some type. Just an old spray bottle will work. If you're really serious you could put it in a garden sprayer. You might have to brush a little with a broom or something, but it'll probably come right off! Give it a try, you'll like it!
p.s. Hose it off with water when your done. It'll all just wash right off.
