Question Storm Drains

I need to have the undergroud pipe between the downspout and the curb replaced, and was thinking of doing it myself. Is there anything to it besides digging up the old, putting down new, checking the pitch, and then backfilling?

Granted, there's a fair amount of digging (it's about 30 feet to the curb), but this seems like something I could do in a weekend.

Am I missing something?

PS I've already called the "Call Before You Dig" number.

The only step you left out was the Ben-Gay.

Sounds like a do-able project.
