gutter leaks

We recently purchased a ranch home and noticed that whenever it rains the water on the backside of the house is coming down between the gutter and the roof. We have cleaned out all the gutters there, cleared all the downspouts (of which there are an adequate number) and checked to make sure the gutter is secure to the house. Still water will fall between the gutter and the roof line. How can we fix the problem?

Your shingles must be short.Put some drip edge/shingle starter under the shingles so that the water gets into the gutters.

Wink

If you have a metal dip edge on the roof cut some metal strips that will go under the drip edge and over the top edge of the gutter. Just tack them there. If no drip edge make are get like a sheet metal L that you can slip under the shingles on the roof and down over the top edge of the gutter.
