metal roof installation

i have built the frame for a roof over part of my deck, and am going to put a metal roof over it

it is 12X10, and attaches to the side of the house with a 12 foot 2X6 lag screwed into the truss
joist hangers hold 2X4X10 2X4 "rafters'" that rest on a 4X6 beam 8 foot out, 2 ft of "rafter" overhangs the beam (connected here with hurricane straps) .the beam is 4 wide and 6 tall to accomodate a hanging chair, and is supported by 4X4 posts. i will run another run of 2X4's crosswise before putting up the metal.

i would like to use a colored product. is it colored on the bottom?

any tips?

should i use nails or screws? i assume i will need a fastener with a rubber washer? i would prefer screws, there is not one nail in the structure so far

i am getting the roofing metal from a sheet metal supplier, not sure he will be able to answer some of these questions

thanks,

mike

The metal panels will be the same color, top & bottom. Use neoprene washers and screws.
