Painting Vinyl Gutters

I am putting up a short gutter run and the Rain Master Vinyl Gutter is the profile that I want. However, the only one that I have seen is white and I want a dark brown.

Is there a dark brown gutter available or can I paint the white gutter?

I've seen dark brown vinyl gutters but I'm not sure if they come in the pattern you want. Vinyl can be primed and painted but I don't think that is an ideal situation. Adhesion would be the problem.

I sure would not try and paint the vinyl gutter. also would not use it as the UV gets to them after time.
Whats wrong with the good old 5" OG gutter they come in brown at home depot and lowes.

Leaky valley on roof

I recently had a leak in my roof along a seam in a valley. A roofer sent to my house by my insurance company said he caulked it temporarily. Should I have the valley flashing replaced or is the caulking enough? Would sealing it with some sort of substance like tar be just as good? Also, I have to replace some of the insulation in the roof where the leak occured. It's blown insulation, about a square meter. Can I simple add regular pink insulation and are they compatible? Aloha. I reside on the Big Island of Hawaii. We are in escrow on a home owned by a single female, age 80. In preparation of selling her home, she just had it reroofed with comp shingle. This house is small--roughly 1300 sq ft--ranch style--nothing fancy--3 skylights. THEY CHARGED HER 26,000 DOLLARS!!!! We feel she has been badly screwed, especially after reading some other pricing threads on your site. The roof was done 3 months ago. We inspected it yesterday and the flashings weren't even placed underneath the shingles. They are cemented, glued, whatever, ontop of hte shingles. Does she have any recourse?Read More
