What is the best gutter for Northern climate with Trees?

We took down our 6 year old gutters for the winter because they fill up with ice, expand and warp all out of porportion.

We wish to install a new gutter system. There are so many out there. LeafGuard, Gutter Helmet, LeafRelief, etc. and they all claim they are the best!
We do want the seamless .032 gauge. The house is a one story, 4/12 pitch, 2 x 6 construction, with deep insulation in a well ventilated attic; over most of the roof, the other quarter of the house is Vaulted Ceilings. We do however get lots of snow and sub zero temperatures here in Parish, Oswego Co., NY State. The few Maple Trees we do have do clog up the gutters several times a year. We are looking for the best maintence free system for our weather.
What should we have installed for our conditions?

If you can Id for sure go with steel seamless gutters there. Put a leaf guard on top of them . You say ice and snow ,might look at the Chromalox www they have a cable just for in the gutter for snow and ice melting. Id make sure they put the spike hangers in every 2 ft up there
