Question Ceiling leaking when it is not raining?!?!?!?!

We own a 1978 Havelock, the ceiling is leaking water when it is not raining. We have put tar on the seams/around the edges/around the vents, and Kool Sealed with that white elastic stuff. It only leaks when it is cold outside in the winter. I think that our gas heater keeps warm air on the ceiling, and the cold air is outside is making condensation in between. Has anyone else ever had this problem? How do you go about fixing it without costing you a lot of $MONEY$?
