copper flashing with Kraft paper questions

3 Oz Copper Flashing 8 inch by 20 feet by Amerimax
SKU: 3056751
this flashing has this description: 3-oz. copper asphalt laminated to a sheet of creped Kraft paper reinforced with fiberglass scrim to meet government requirements i nstalled copper side up.

Ok, so I'm looking for some copper to use on the front edge of my roof to simply help shoot the water a bit further in the valley. It will be exposed and I want copper because it looks good and won't rust like galvanized eventually does. But this particular rolled copper has that paper which messes up the look. But the price is really good. Seems hard to find the same product without the paper laminated to it for a similar price.
Does the kraft paper go all the way to the edge?
I guess I could get a wider size and bend it double but anyone know a better solution?

Wink

Yes go down and get the 16oz copper and do the job right. That is use like with a good back up for copper looks not for an edge or trim out.
