I am wondering how much give there is supposed to be in a metal mobile home roof. The north end of my 99 mobile gets beat up on a lot from storms and when I was checking it this last weekend I could see it rolling as the wind would catch it. It was not coming up but sure looked loose. It's mighty noisy too!

I've owned 5 MHs in 3 different states. They all pop and crack with temp changes and sound like they will blow away during storms. Iv'e seen some people put old tires on their roofs to keep the noise down but I think it is very unsitely. Short of framing up and installing a new roof I know of no fix for the noise.

Chimney flashing leak

During yesterday's heavy rain, I used the opportunity to go up in my crawl-space attic and check for leaks. I found a very minor one where a small amount of water was coming in down the chimney. It appears it is coming in behind the step-flashing. What kind of sealant should I use up there to seal that up? I just purchased some "Gutter and Flashing" sealant for another job, would that work ok for this job?Read More

I sure this has been covered before, But what's the best way to clean my 5 year old roof. I have alot of fir needles, cones and of course, moss. Will light presure washing affect of hurt the shingles? Expert advice is greatly appreciated!Read More
