Ondura roofing

Does anyone have any experience with Ondura corrugated roofing tiles? We saw a display at Lowe's for these and they looked nice. We have composition shingles over wood shingles and it is time to reroof again. The website says you can put these over up to 2 layers of roofing. Otherwise, we would have to remove both layers and replace the plywood decking. This would save us on labor and time.

Check with your local code authority before you purchase anything, most do not allow more than 2 layers.
And many have specific procedures concerning if you must remove both layers or not, type of decking you can install, type of underlayment, nails...you name it they will have something to say about it.....

Big Brother is watching!!!!

God Luck!

I,d like to hear back from anyone that has used Ondura as well.It is such a simple product like the vinyl siding of roofing.Looks fairly simple to install. The only thing I was leery about was the paint finish
