Question damaged roof? Help, new at this!

Help, just bought First home in May! Katrina damaged several shingles, dad lives out of town Told me to get roofing cement and cover nail holes, but when you get up there, whole roof feels unstable and springy. Home inspector gave clean bill of health, but didn't climb up there. Also noticed where roof meets trim on a corner, you can completely lift shingle section away from boards underneath! Don't know where to begin dealing with this problem! :

Damaged Roof

Definetly call in a roof and get their opinion. Believe me, they will not tell you you need something if you don't. Maybe your spongy roof is due to sub roofing not being thick enough. We don't know either, but a spongy roof raises some questions and they are not nice questions. Get a professional opinion. Good Luck
