Question Mold on drywall caused by roof leak

I discovered mold on the drywall in my garage. This garage wall is the "back side" of my family room wall. The roof leak has been repaired and the mold was cleaned off with bleach and a rag. However, should I cut open the drywall to inspect for water and mold damage? My property management company doesn't think this is necessary, but I would rather be safe than sorry. Please advise.

Property management company - you're renting?

Not renting - own

No, I am not renting. I own my townhouse. The community is governed by CC&Rs and the property management company oversees landscaping and repairs.
