Question Question about Remodeling...Roof/ceiling joist/live load/dead load

I have an existing home 21' widewith 2X6 trusses resting on a beam (that I made while removing a wall,4 glued and screwed 2x10's)covering a 12' 6" span but would like to raise the ceiling to follow the roof line of one side and carry onto the other. (convert to shed roof) I currently have a 6/12 pitch. What size truss will carry the weight from one wall to the other. And will I need posts beams etc and distance apart. The raised ceiling is going to be above both my Kitchen and Dining area and would like a bedroom over half the rest of the house without raising the ceiling over the existing bedrooms.(build knee wall and raise roof at existing peak of house.

This is like trying to diagnose a patient over the phone. You need an engineer to answer your questions. Snow load? Wind?? Grade of lumber?? Age???? Bolt size/spacing/washers/etc. etc. etc Lotta stuff here to consider...... A certified structural engineer may cost a few hundred but its alot cheaper than picking up the pieces if it falls in........
