Rolled Asphalt shingle
I am replacing this on an overhang and when I started removing the old, I noticed there had not been any tar paper laid under it.
I was under the assumption that first goes the tar paper then the roll gets nailed on top. Please let me know if I am correct, otherwise I will just lay down the asphalt shingle roll and save a couple of bucks.
Also any tips for removing the old. I have to chisle it off an inch at a time in a lot of areas.
