flat roof and deck

I plan to have a floating deck placed on top of a 12'x12' attachment on my house. There is some poorly done roll roofing on there currently, which will be replaced, and I would like some advice on what type of roof would be sufficient to be placed under the deck.
thanks

I am currently investigating this myself...Rubber roofs seem to be the way forward...in touch with a manufacturer called Duro- Last.. www.duro-last.com

they stamp it and ship it... one piece, no seams.
<y builder "doesnt understand" .. I'm doing what I can to get him to think outside the box...literally.

roll roofing

Have worked with bro-in-law in roofing a little. Another rubber like roll roffing material is IWA Plan. Pretty sure that is that is th e name of it. Far superior to the old roll roofing. Had trouble for years with the customary type roll roofing on my two flat porches. He installed IWA Plan, no more problems. Said it would last longer than the 20 year shingles.
