Estimate on flashing chimney

Wondered if anyone could give me a real-ballpark-figure on what it would cost to have a chimney reflashed? The chimney goes up through the house's roof right at the peak. I would assume, because of its location on the roof, no flashing saddle would be needed.

Buying my first home and wanting to know approx. how much this would cost to have fixed (far as I know there's no real water damage, it just needs to be reflashed)

Thanks!

Cost of labor and materials tend to vary from area to area. Additional considerations may be trip time to the job as well as difficulty of the project.

Get at least three bids and make sure contractor is licensed and insured. You should get a copy of contractors license and certificates for workers compensation and liability insurance and call to make sure insurances are current. Workers compensation covers a worker who is injured on your property (homeowner's insurances does not) and liability insurance covers damages to your home.
