gutters part 2

we have had steady rain all day.
I went this afternoon to move in a new stove, found a puddle behind the stove. the water problem at the walls is even worse than I thought.

every leak in the J channel corresponds to a damaged floor or window in the MH!

guy at home depot showed me some nice 3/4 inch J channel that is used for siding. it comes in 12 foot strips.

think it would work at a small substitute gutter for the MH?

waiting for the sun to shine and the sound of running water to stop.....

J channel might work. Main thing is figuring out how to install it without creating another potential leak - so water can't get behind it.

You still need to correct where the water is coming in at. Make sure there are no leaks in the roof. Sometimes water can run a ways unseen before it comes out. Also check a 4' or so area of the siding on the outside wall behind stove to make sure the rain isn't blowing in or running down the metal finding a way in.

Roof leaks usually occur at the seams. It would probably be a good idea to tar those areas. You can use aluminum paint to hide the tar.
