Is this a mansard or gable roof and can a traditional gutters be attached?

I'm not sure what type of roof design is over my garage. What I am sure is that I wood like to add a gutter on both sides but there's no fascia board to attach the gutter to. I've tried those RainHandler gutter system (the ones with the louvers) but I'm not satisfied with the results. And with that system I had to buy a special mounting bracket due to no fascia board.

I cant see if you have rafter tails in there or not. But there is a 1/2 round gutter that you could hang. That you can use strap like hangers that would go up under that first row of shingles .
Any sheet metel shop can make you a gutter with a high back on it
that this would slip under the first row of shingles. Dont think it would have to be a 5" gutter for that roof
